The 25th World Scout Jamboree
We still have a long way to go with South Korean organizers, to organize such a big event as the World Scout Jamboree. The World Scout Jamboree is the world's largest youth camp held every four years in different countries.
This year South Korea is the host country of the 25th World Scout Jamboree. About 40 thousand scouts came from different countries. Many scouts are questioning the insufficient and dirty toilets, poor sanitization, garbage management, lack of shower facilities and changing rooms, cleaning systems, disposal of food waste, and poor accommodation.
Soon after Scouts began arriving it became evident that sanitation, transportation, infrastructure, and other basic needs of the visiting Scouts were not going to be met.
Food shortages and hygiene issues including insufficient food and unmanaged facilities have also been raised.
Worldwide, all English channels are broadcasting South Korea’s failure and poor management systems of the 25th World Scout Jamboree. This is really shameful to me.
